Lectures on Simulation


This is a series of lectures originally delivered in an EXYSTENCE funded school on Simulation in Complex Systems Science.
The course was organised by Christopher Barrett, from the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at Virginia Tech and took place in Villa Gualino, ISI, Torino, in 2006.

This EXYSTENCE school was organised as an intense workshop with ONCE-CS collaborating to create online courses for a wider audience of students.

The lectures are contributions from leading scientists in complex systems science, covering social, biological and artificial systems. Contributors include: Chris Barrett, Madhav Marathe, Keith Bisset, Stephen Eubank, Luc Steels, David Lightfoot, Peter Schuster, Henning Mortveit, Jeffrey Johnson, George Rzevski, Peter Allen, Alan Penn, Vladimir Batagelj.
